Morrigan Oversized Silk Scarf: Silk Twill
Ltd edition of 300, 100% silk with a handrolled edge, 130cm x 130cm
A product of dreams, memories and coincidences, this print draws on the story of the Morrigan, the shape-shifting Celtic Goddess of War, Fate and Death. Her alter egos include the black bird, a crow or raven, that famously perched on the shoulder of Celtic hero Cú Chulainn in the throes of death, a serpent and a black horse. All three are represented in this print.
Like so many strong characters in Irish mythology, she represents female power and energy and is known as a protector, having the ability to allow a person to draw on their inner strength.

Please note that due to the nature of silk and with the scarves being printed in small batches that colours can vary slightly, although we try our best to ensure continuity. Due to this and computer/ phone screen settings the colours can look a little different to above. If you require a specific colour or shade we would advise purchasing from one of our retailers so you can view the product in real life before purchase.
